Tansen
The town
Tansen is a hill town, rich in historical and cultural heritage, it is located between Pokhara (119 km) and Lumbini (birthplace of Lord Buddha - 85 Km). It offers a relaxed atmosphere and is an invitation for exploration to all travellers.
Tansen is the administrative municipality of Palpa district and is well known for its traditional Newari style houses.
